The traditional language of Acho Dene Koe First Nation is Dene, or South Slavey.

This is an Athabaskan language, indigenous to North America. Many of our elders speak fluent Slavey, and only a little English. Students learn Slavey in school as part of their curriculum, and practice at home with family and with elders.
